John Harrison - Shop Manager

John and his team at the Toowoomba office offer quality domestic systems up to 5kWs, and also specialise  in larger solar farms and commercial projects (30kW – 120kW ). John has built several large commercial systems in the past year and has a string of very happy commercial and residential customers. He comes to Infinity with over 20 years of international experience in project management, mostly in the Asia Pacific, and has concentrated on the farming and commercial sectors of the solar industry here in Australia. His hands-on experience in building systems, combined with his business acumen, makes him the perfect choice to review your business and its exposure to rising operational costs. John can offer a particular insight into the emerging renewable energy  industry with proven practical and financial outcomes.

Mark Delaney - Renewable Energy Engineer

Mark Delaney is Infinity Solar’s renewable energy engineer. Mark has been in the electricity industry since 1998 and renewable energy since 2002. He holds a double degree in Engineering (Renewable Energy) and Science (Energy Efficiency) through Murdoch University in WA and is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia. Mark is also a qualified electrician and has full CEC accreditation through the Clean Energy Council and can design any system for your needs including grid connect, hybrid and standalone. Mark is also a Toowoomba local recently returning after a 10 year hiatus and welcomes any enquiries you may have.

Debbie Comollati

Debbie moved from insurance into construction, helping people design and build their new homes. She made the move to Infinity Solar to assist people in lowering their power bills and live a more eco-friendly lifestyle. She prides herself on her ability to provide professional, individual, and focused assistance to ensure each customer receives the best advice possible.

I recently learnt why price should not be the main motivator when purchasing a solar power system and why Infinity Solar is my choice.
In 2010 I was looking to install a standalone solar power system for a rural property that I had recently purchased. After many months of research and countless phone calls to companies around Australia I came across a great company by the name of Infinity Solar. Adrian Decarli and his team designed me a 5KW battery back-up system and took the time to explain how the system would work, the rebates I would receive and why they believed that the components they recommended were the best to use.
Adrian’s team installed this system at my property in early 2011. The installers were fantastic and even offered to update the power board and install a few power points to get us going. And the system has not missed a beat since!
After this experience I caught the ‘Solar Power Bug’ and decided to look at installing a feed-in system at my principle place of residence as well. Naturally I spoke to Adrian first to see what deal he could give me. He designed a 5KW feed in system for my house and also a smaller system for my Dad’s place. The price was good and the components were from reputable suppliers however I decided to get some quotes from a few other solar companies just to check I was getting a good deal. This is where I went wrong.
One of the other companies I spoke to dazzled me with their slick marketing presentation and offered me a price that was several thousand dollars less than what Infinity Solar could match. So I went with them because they were cheaper. And yes you guessed it - less than 12 months later this other company were out of business and I was left with a faulty inverter with a warranty that was not worth the paper it was written on.
So with my tail between my legs, I called Adrian once more to see if he could dig me out of the mess I had created. And of course he did! There is a good reason why Adrian and his team are still in business and that is a good reason to go with them.

I had been looking for other enterprises to fit into our Organic beef grazing business that would be dry season positive and offer a rate of return of above 15% for capital invested. We had looked at many different enterprises and the one that stood out was putting in solar farms. When I came across John Harrison from Infinity Solar he showed us how we could make it all work even though they were also new to putting the Farm systems together. John’s persistence with negotiating with the energy company, seeing a bigger picture and role for Infinity Solar, has come through with great results. We now have 2 x 30kW Solar farms built on our 1600ha property. The construction and equipment is of high quality and has now been generating for a week. The output of both systems for the past week (4 cloudy days, mid winter) has been above the initial estimates used in our enterprise evaluation calculations. So we are excited to see what they shall generate in summer. We are now both sun harvesters for grass to beef protein and sun to electricity which has reduced our dry season risk and strengthened our business in a sustainable manner.

I have just got to put pen to paper ( or modern terms type to email) to let you know how impressed I was with your team that came to install our system on Tuesday.  As you know I have had a lot of dealings with tradespeople both as an employer and customer , and I would like you to express to your company and team on my behalf how well mannered , considerate, tidy and  the high work ethics  of your installers.  They are a credit to the company , and as they are your front line their conduct represents the principals of” Infinity Solar”, in saying this your company is on a winner.  Even though the team were working in bad weather and getting thoroughly soaked, not once did I hear a word of complaint, or swearing, their manners as tradesmen would be impossible  to emulate.  I must thank you for all your time and consideration and patience in explaining all the system’s to us and advising us on the best unit for our needs.
